I did some rock crawling yesterday with my stock 1009. I have to say that the stock springs are really nice and flex very well. I'm definitely doing the shackle flip too so I can keep these.
I think I'm also going to get the tuff country springs up front so I can maintain good articulation...

i took my m1009 out today to do a little wheeling and ended up with this.
I'm guessing I need to replace the axle seals and, while I'm at it, replace the locking hubs. Does anyone have any input on the brand of seal I use? I'd love to get the best ones available.
Mine fits perfectly so no, I guess it's not the right answer. Did yours get swapped out at one point? Just find one that fits your assembly and make sure it seals.
Nailed it. Loved that movie and still do. I thought it fitting because Burt drove a jimmy. I changed it to m16 because "Uzi 4u" was taken but also because the dudes that rolled in this truck back when Burt was blasting graboids carried m16s!
