i think we need to come up with a way to get higher gear ratios to go with the bigger tires.that way you could start off in second and never have to worry about it ..it could be done with different input gears on the trans . if someone wanted to make them to add to his awsome od gears he has...

locking ring rims are very safe . you are thinking of split rims they are a totally different story the same rims the deuce has are still in use today. and i 10 oz piece of steel can kill someone on a motorcycle but i guess thier life isnt worth anything to you
you can still stop a deuce without power brakes i agree with westy.but if it happens under the right conditions it can cause an accident. like say someone cuts him off right as it breaks .it probably wont be a good thing . and as many of us know things have a way of going wrong at just the right...

if the bolt broke off with some sticking out you can weld a nut to it. let it cool it will come right out i would do that first if posible . if not take the driveshaft out and drill it and use an easy out. using a rev dirrection drill bit sometimes takes them right out to.
gm uses sealing pelets to stop leaks like this they have service bullitins on this . they work really good on cases like this . they come three to a pack it takes three to seal up one northstar motor. the deuce you would need 6-8 to do the job they are a permant fix i would put them in before...
the sprag type transfer case uses a rod off the first-rev shift fork rail to lock the transfer case in allwheel drive when in reverse as the sprag would just over run in that dirrection . the rod doesnt lock it in when in first gear the sprag funtions normally when in any of the forward gears...
if he had it coming out of the top of the tank instead of the bottom it would be ok . but wtaer is haevier than air an settles to the bottom of the tank . putting a hose hook up onn the bottom of the tank is using your tools as a water catch can for the air system
the hook up on the dash doesnt have a quick connect on it . it has a shut off valve and a plug in the hole you need to buy a 99cent quick connect and screw it on there . . the bottom of the air tank will give you enough water to ruin your tools .protected or not that is the worst place you...
i have been working on cars for over 20 yrs and i have not seen one single vehicle that doesnt bypass the thermostat.some have bleed holes in the t star itself some have bypass hoses some use the heater hoses but all are bypassed.why becuase the water pump has to be able to move water at all...
oh also inside temps of engine parts will be the same as the coolant temp which would have to be around 95-100 to get outside readings that high.it is no wonder my truck starts faster at 0 with the block heater than it does at 70 with out it. the internal parts are warmer with the block heater...
