    you have the J code engine, no EGR (exhaust gas re-circulation) so its going to make a bit more power and probably be a bit louder. Injectors dont make an engine louder.

    they all had generators and air compressors at one time, if you are purchasing from GL its hit or miss if they are still there.

    They are m1028 dually's, so one is a A2 and the other is an A3. unless the bodies are rotted away they are worth no less than $4500

    your 1028 should have two normal 12v alternators run in series to get the 24v. unless you have the ambulance charging system.

    its not useless, with the diagnostic equipment that plugs into it you can see a lot of engine data.

    for the one with the np208 I'd say fair value is around $5000, for the np205 model closer to $6K

    Important Fuel Injection Pump question, please help

    that shaft seal "might" be able to be done without removing or taking the pump apart, but if that seals on its way out the inside of the pump probably isnt much better.
