    soft top bed box

Here are some pics of the GI cover and the framework on the 1008. It is a wind drag when deployed. Of course, the 1008's don't go that fast anyways...

    What are your coolant temps?

Exactly. That's why they're called 'idiot lights'.

1971 Deuce with correct paint completed

DITTO!! LOVE the 24087 painted MV's with the white markings! Not enough of them with their original colored skin.

    Headed to Sparta next week!

I think grounded will be sleeping for the next 2 weeks! We yapped for quite awhile when he stopped at my place. It was great meeting him. I could tell he was running on empty though. He said something about putting 4k miles on the road in just a couple 3 days! There was a time I could do that...

I get the same thing occasionally.

They come on when it's too late.

    What are your coolant temps?

Here's a link to the temp probe in the head info. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/34630-where-install-temp-sensor.html You are smart to have a temp gauge so you can monitor actual changes and react accordingly. Heat is the 6.2's nemisis. 220-240 deg's is in the head warping range. The 3:08...

Need a haul from Lansing, MI to Las Vegas, NV

 I'm not working, so I've got the time.... plus I already have stick time on it. Like I'd keep it at my house..... LOL Seriously, I was planning on putting it in my driveway, the legal way, but this God-forsaken Michigan economy put an end to those plans. How's the 151 coming...

    need parts for a m1008

You may be farther ahead buying another M1008 from GL or elsewhere. Get one with a blown/missing engine or axles but with an interior intact. By the time you piecemeal everything your truck needs, it will cost more than what a complete parts truck would. When you're done sell off what's left of...

    Before & After.

Wow, that is the cleanest M105 I have ever seen! Nice work!

Just won another MEP... this time a 003AAS

:ditto: They're also alot quieter than the military gas equivilant genset. I added an ASK to my mep002 and in my opinion it didn't make that much of a difference. A little, but not worth the expense or trouble of putting one on. But that's just me.

    M818 Recovery and Mechanical Problems

Congrats on the 818. One thing I noticed with yours that you'll want to take care of before too long. See the PS reservoir low pressure line and the cracks in it? Feel it and you'll find that it's already soft and spongy. Get rid of that hose and put on a reinforced hose that is rated for use in...
