You need to go the extra mile and mount an old beer keg as a fuel tank, like the hot rodders sometimes do. Might have to mount a few of them with as much fuel as the deuce goes through.
Ha ha, no that is in response to all the folks like gimpy et al who purposely come up with the weirdest in avatars. Since my theme has been Firefly for the last several years, every avatar showing Cpt. Mal Reynolds from the show, this new avatar in the last scene from the episode Trash where he...
Saw this on one of the other sites we like frequenting with our credit cards. This is a 1974 Ford C-600 cabover, looks like a short wheelbase fuel truck. The OD green paint job hints at a former military career. Anyone know what these were used for initially? While short and cute looking, it...

There are two sitting in Coleman's yard that are pretty beat but the frame and deck are solid. It's a shame they're just sinking into the Pennsylvania mud as time goes on...
I paid $4K for the M37 I have now, and it had more stuff than that one, including the hard top and a winch (although it was not the right winch, it did work). I'd say $4K is the top end of what I'd offer, but I'd start around $2K.
Nice truck, I'm surprised it's not red painted already, I'm sure that might get proposed in the near future.
The CTIS systems are notorious for failing. If you don't want to mess with it, rip the entire system out and just have regular tires, you will have to air up and down as you see fit.
If it's something you don't want but is being sold for a song, buy it and resell it here. That beast is a rare bird, and even if it's in pretty crappy condition there will be parts and pieces that we all can use. If it's good shape, someone here will be glad to give it a home.
Under the new rules, only those with post counts of 8,000 or more can post an ad. So, from now on, only Kenny, gimpy, Bjorn, doghead, and myself can post ads.
Once again had a great time at the 2011 Gilbert MV show and Mud Bog. Very wet on Friday, but Saturday was fairly nice, slept nice and warm in the Dawg House, lots of folks enjoyed the Vietnam display and the wet weather and mud made it all the more realistic. Now it's just gonna take a week or...
I'll be pulling in around 3-4pm if all goes right on this end Thursday. Will have a few extra things to sell that aren't listed in the classifieds, field gear items but no vehicles parts. Will have the hooch set up ready to go by Friday morning with the '60s tunes and the -60s guns. See ya there!
Well, regardless of the lack of volunteers, I'll be there, and I'll take some pics of the weekend and the work we do. I've heard of the list of stuff that needs to be done on the boat and it's longer than last year. There are almost 50 people who have volunteered on the website who will be...
