The part you are refering to that jumps between the power rails on the pass side firewall is not needed. It was to eliminate radio noise. I suspect someone has mixed up some wires in the past with the alternators, it's the first thing to burn up as well as fusable links.

Where I live there are sand dunes and high centered on a hill is a big problem. Any lift you can get is good. And looks cool :-D

I've done it by myself with a cherry picker. The biggest problem I have run into is the bolts get rusy and if you turn the nut on the bottom the bolt head stips out the sheetmetal in the box floor and then just spins. I've tried different ways of removing them, drilling the head off the bolt...

I always try to use usa parts when I can. Rapco parts from jc whiney are usa made. Seem to be thicker too.

Nope, I'm salvaging everything on it. Not sure what I'm selling or keeping yet. My blazer is starting to get pretty rusty. I might use my new cab to build a custom truck on my blazer setup. Not sure yet.
