RE: Holly carb The only springs on mine are on the cross shaft on the Exhaust manifold and the throttle brackt. at the firewall, are those still there on your truck?Mine doesnt have any other springs than that , no springs on the carb itself.

RE: mirror Yes the glass may break trying to pop it out. Sometimes they fall out by themselves or if you need to get it out, then its in there like concrete.
