It was some bracket that came from a 998 I think. I have no idea what it went to. I have 3 of them in the big box of crap and parts that was in my 105 when I got it.

I ended up installing mine behind the shifter. It works really really well for me and even leaves room for my wife to ride center.
And on a side note, holy crap Mike!
I had a big display like that too but had a kid and ended up just shelving it all. I went to a discount store and scored about 300 feet of bachmann snap track. So now me and my kid setup track that runs all over the house and watch the trains. I have a nice digital controller that I saved from...
Wow, fiscal responsibility. Nice.
I am really glad they are not just going to toss them out.
2 years of use in Iraq seems about right for truck death by my experience.
I agree with the above statement. If he is willing to go through the normal legality to get it sold before a dime is put on it then I would think you are OK as long as it does get run through the bureaucracy. I would say it would just follow the same thing a responsible person would do with any...
I have a pretty massive HO collection from being a kid to now. There is a lot of really cool MV stuff in HO.
1500 and 750?! I thought 350 cars and 80 engines made me weird.
Ferro, where do you store all of that? Is there a way to swap your bearings so you can move that stuff on main line rail?
I would filter it quite a bit better then that for a 6.2. There are lots and lots of good water separator/filters for cheap that will do at least 10 micron. I don't think the 6.2 handles the nasty stuff as well as the multifuel.
I really want to see some pics of the engine in there. I know there are quite a few people looking hard at this thread and some cheap 6.2/211s running about. I am definitely one of them.
it looks really fun, and awesome to make an RV out of, but I agree that frame flex would be an issue looking at just the pics.
I agree with the 5 ton Idea but make it out of a 818 so it isn't a block long.
I singled mine out with g286 11x20s and there is a slight increase in mileage. I get around high 10s with mine. 52 on the GPS is 2200 RPM. The lower engine speed alone would be worth its weight in gold on such a long trip.
When doing long trips I keep it right at 52, 45 on the speedo.
