I was looking at some M35A3's on the auction. I noticed an object on the wheels which looked like a weight. What is that thing?

Is the standard engine in a CCUCVA a diesel engine? It is not in the description of the auction.

I participated in the convoy assembled at Fayetteville, AR in April. A long way to travel but was a lot of fun. Two other vehicles came from the BMMP Houston area club. A couple MV's came from N.E. Tex 37 vehicles gathered for the 100 mile convoy.

I'm waiting for the assembling of a convoy, then I'll join in. I don't much go for an all day in the heat static displays.

Maybe the 24 volt system on the jeeps was to help jump start small aircraft engines. I think someone said that already. My M38 has 24 volt system with slave cable outlet.
