Yeah...I know...well- what should have been 62 miles prolly ended up being over 90! Once we finally got to a road I knew and was only 17 miles from home there was a bridge out and sent us on a 25 minute detour! "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" Oh well, home save! :)
Got her home today with no mechanical conundrums! Whew! I did curse Mapquest however as it sent us off route badly until I eyeballed where we needed to go and just headed that way until roads looked familiar. 62 miles took 3hrs...ugh. Anyway gave a nice opportunity over all the paved hillclimbs...
Do they have an NP203 or NP205? If they have them, then they would have a pto port on the transfer case. The factory TH400 trans does not. That being said, I have no idea whether the gear would match up or not.
I had the air pressure regulator head south on me which didn't matter that much because the rain was awful and I wasn't going to deal with that. On the flipside, tore it all apart today cleaned it out real well and lubed it with 'marker' oil (yes, paintball gun marker oil is the BOMB in air...
You have a couple of choices. A heavy rubber insert (hutchinson, usually) or the aluminum/steel bands with the rubber on either side typically. That seems to be what the military is running in the big stuff. Humvee's are different. I have six metal band type ones but may have four sold.
The bolt pattern will be standard as I think it's like an SAE design with only a couple different patterns available. The helix angle of that one gear is important. I looked high and low for a civvy unit and most of them had the helix of what I needed opposite direction. Anyone with a pto on...
You know what though...do you think if he's that desperate he's paid his auto insurance? Down or not, making excuses for this is, and enabling stuff like this to continue with a bleeding heart of 'whoa is them,' is A HUGE PROBLEM in this country.
If you're not circulation pressure, ie; taking a pressure reading just off of one hydraulic drop, that may be the reason for the large pressure decrease. Again, check the intake filter. Also, I didn't see you mention it anywhere but the pumps are rated 2,500psi at a specific rated rpm. I *think*...
Hey Kenny, after you put those on you need the old back up alarm I have kicking around that I pulled off a '53 Reo. Has an outer 'bell' with like track for a large ball bearing to roll only a certain direction. Oh, and you bolt it to the end of the axle/hub in the center of the wheel. When...
What transmission are you running? A buddy of mine has a 4BT with the wastegate tack welded closed and NV4500 with the 4.56 geared CUCV rears and 42's getting 24mpg.
If the guy was speaking of the Ural or Zil trucks, sorry fellas...I'd side with him. WHY did it take us so long to use large super singles and dump the traditional NDT design?!?? A Ural with directional Omsk large singles would certainly go where the deuce wouldn't. Eight skinny slick with...
