Bringing an M35A2 out of the trees and back on the road

YEAH!!!!! I had a feeling it would start! Nice Job! I'm sure there will be a few gremlins to chase out after sitting for so long, but man it is sure encouraging to hear about this success. Keep it up and keep us posted. :grd:

Bringing an M35A2 out of the trees and back on the road

If all the switches are off, and you are still getting sparks, you may have a voltage drain (short) somewhere. That could be from a bad wire or even through an electrical component like the alternator. When you see sparks, I would assume that means something is feeding current back through the...

    Uses for Deuces

So, Friday night, we had some bad storms. Knocked out power for 6 hours, knocked down about 15 trees on my place and basically made a mess and quickly changed my Saturday plans! My driveway was blocked and while it was pretty easy to clear a path with the skidloader, it was more fun to drive...

However it...

    Newbie from Iowa says Hello

Hello to all and thanks for this great site. I purchased my first MV this past winter as an "anniversary present" for my wife. It's a 1970 Deuce and she dumps! I bought her with the intention of using around the farm for dump truck work, and now I have kinda gotten into fixing it up. I...

Bringing an M35A2 out of the trees and back on the road

My deuce didn't sit as long as yours, but I know it sat for several years. It had mice nests, bird nests, and some other unidentifieable nests. The soft top had rotted away and there were actually a couple small weeds growing out of the seat! I never thought it would start so I didn't even put...

    Interstate Driving Etiquette

Around here, if you display a SMV, you can get a ticket for travelling over 25 mph. You can even get a ticket for exceeding 25 mph while hauling a piece of equipment that is displaying one! It all depends on the mood of the authority figure.
