Am i expecting too much , or right on target

My M35A2 sets for months at a time and even a year. Touch the starter button and she fires. These old trucks can take allot. I have never abused it though. Good maintenance.

If you could pick up one with the winch I think it would fit your bill. You could winch out other vehicles, pull fallen trees from the woods and even make a crane tri pod for lifting. Heres mine.. Runs stops leaks a little oil but can be used to go to the tip of Norway tomorrow morning if I so...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Nice job! 925's are so rare here and when they do come up for auction they have the single wheels / small wheels.

Just bought an M923 and I have several questions

On my M923A1 the only thing that does not make noise is the exhaust! Just standing beside it running you can go death!

Seems like us Europeans prefer to repair instead of replace! It would have to be a walk through hole for me to starting thinking about replacing! Nice truck....

    8.3 CTA Cummins won't start

I have never had any issues after changing my filters on my A2. I don't ore fill either one. I prime with the hand pump while opening the bleed off valve and she starts no sweat. My A1's are another story!

    M1070 recovery

Every time I bring a truck home from the surplus disposal points of northern Germany or central Holland I need days to get my stuff back together. Problems with police, traffic, finding hotels when I want, truck problems, my back problems, and etc. every time I say STOP, NO MORE but every time I...

got screwed on an m939.... crap

If there us no rust and the truck was here I would JUMP on 5600!!! The truck is worth more than that. I'm sure you shut it down before any motor damage is done. The lonely way I would think about changing a radiator is if a pole drove through it! I bet you can save it with a good radiator shop...

got screwed on an m939.... crap

It looks like a good truck. I've never had an ex military truck purchased that did not need anything. We are all in the same passion / hobby so we have a good thing in common. We are here to help you as I was helped when I made my first post a few years back. Hang in there.

Why not see how bad the radiator damage is before abandoning the ship? I have a leak on my 923A1 and I'm going to remove the radiator and fix it. I've not come across many radiators that can't be fixed.
