Circumference = Diameter x PIE (YUM) PIE is actually a funny looking character but I like PIE! Yes I do!!!!!
14.5 x 20 Michelin is 42ish inches in diameter ( I didn't measure one )
PIE = 3.14...... (3.14 for this discussion)
So:
Michelin tire goes 11 feet/rev
11ft x 2200rev...
I had a total brain fart in thinking about how to make my A3 go faster and this is what I came up with.
I am going to acquire a nice M920 and to this said truck I am going to:
Replace front axle with super duty rebuilt front steer axle with huge brakes, (no gears type)
eliminate transfer case...
That transmission exists, It's called the 1545, It came installed in my A3 and after the "flush" it is a sweet tranny.
To make the truck go faster, just install 3 overson 4.90 axle gear sets and your golden. They go for $1200 ish each. That option is still cheaper than a tranny swap.

lowering kit
big brakes
shock tower brace
super computer
limited slip rear end
Borla wheels
tires to match wheels
3 inch stainless...
The radiator support mounts on both sets I have removed have been seized and the nut on the bottom of the mount was a bugger to remove but it is possible and the top of the bolt must be held regardless and it is a another booger to get a wrench on from the front through the grill.
Disconnect the...
How about relocating battery box back and step a few inches and then lengthening fender rearward until it interferes with door and then don't make fender go vertical at rearward portion but build in enough angle to clear tire when turned.
Don't forget :doghead:
Dashboard Hula Girls
Just a thought, I'm gonna order one, didn't think they existed, amazing what the internet is in the hands of an internet neophyte:confused:
Use a tire "lube" like freylube. never use silicone as that will bond that rim together and you won't get it apart. Have you checked the grommet that holds the air stem into the rim?
