I had timeout problems before, something to do with the cookies... Now use firefox instead of internet explorer, and I have yet to time out.
Also, you can right click where you are typing, click select all, and then copy. If it times out on you, log back in and where you type, right click...
Well one problem is my compressor is a trailer mounted compressor, that I'm allowed to use, in exchange for storage/maintenance. So not sure if it would be allowed to travel, and would require a second tow vehicle or another road train idea.
Hey gimp, dad has does work for a paint removal...
600 pound clemco+190cfm compressor+4000lbs of black beauty abrasive=enormous sandblasting capacity! Should be able to strip a truck in no time. What, not going to tell how much you stole it for? I'm thinking it ranks up there with the wrecker deal.

One was an intervechicle cable for a M818, 10 or 20 bucks at swap meet. It has a male and female end for the trailer plugs. Just used one end on it.
The other came out of a wiring harness I had, was supposed to be for the rear lights on a deuce, but I think it was a trailer harness.
Then a...
I use a little blue locktite on the flywheel and clutch bolts. Should have seen my buddy cussing trying to remove the driveshaft bolts I installed... They were tight, and yes, you can get the jackshaft bolts tight, but takes some wiggling.
Here's what I came up with for towing MV's and civi stuff. Some of which is borrowed from members on here.
1st cable is a 3 foot long, one end plugs into the standard MV trailer plug on truck, other end is standard 4 wire plug(vehicle side) for civilian stuff.
2cd cable is 35 foot long...
Thinking the transmission is around 300 pounds. 4x4 will work fine over that short of a span. If you have a soft top(or want to remove hardtop), a chain hoist to a beam overhead works good. You will break the bolts off before you crank the motor over, and the fuel shutoff should be pulled...
That was a quick and dirty how-to.
Do not stand near the winch line under load. The cable will guide itself if your pointed straight, and have a little tension on it. In the real world, rarely does it wind up that nice, I usually have to rewind it at home.
Gloves are nice, the cable can have...
If your doing both sides at the same time, you can use a long piece of steel rod, about 3/4 dia, and tap the seal out from the other side. Run the rod through the axle from the other side and you can use it to tap the seal out.
Here's a video I put together today, hoping to show the basic operation of the deuce winch. It's not perfect, so let me know what you think. Click the HQ button when watching it to get better video quality.

I would say a single full wrap is what should be on there. With that you can put the hoist on the ground on a 2 part line. If you are running a extra layer, it's going to reduce your lifting(pulling) capacity some.
For the life of me, I can't see having 200 feet, or even 150 feet of cable...
200 foot on the front winch, or cable hoist Kenny? I have one wrap of cable on the cable hoist of the M108, and the block will reach the ground with a two part line, boom extended and all the way up. I would say it's around 75 ft long, haven't measured it.
543 will need more, it's got a 3...
