How are you keeping it secure under the seat from vibrations/etc? Is one u-bolt good enough? I like the box seats also.....once those shocks wear out, you will wish you had a box seat!

How do you fix a window in a deuce door that will only go halfway down? I think the mechanism inside the door is bent. I could swap one out of one of my other deuces....but cant figure out how to remove the glass & fix the problem & then reinstall the glass. HELP! Thanks! :mrgreen:

Does anyone know the part #s for the front/rear left/right wheel studs on a deuce? I have a local "big truck" shop that sells me everything I need, but unless I take them in the actual studs or have part #s, they cant help. I royally screwed up two of my rear axles studs, and one of the front...

The passenger side alternator on my M1009 was loose & when I went to tighten the upper bolt (which I could turn by hand), the bolt would go all the way in & then just spin and spin (with a ratchet). The threaded hole on the alternator is stripped out I guess. What is the best way to fix this...

I agree BUT....I do see why people would get mad if an auction that they were going to bid on is getting extra attention because of it. On the other hand.....it IS on GL's main page as a clickable link. Who knows....this is obviously a gray area.... 2cents
