Bought a m135 this weekend at a auction

I'll have some more pics tomorrow, I had a really good friends son get married this weekend and had to do my bidding over the phone during the reception. :) I'll be heading over there tomorrow to see if I can get it to a friends house a few miles up the road so we can make sure I can run it...

Bought a m135 this weekend at a auction

I tried to buy these engines too but messed up on my bidding. They said white on the side of the block, and are gas, had tags from 1953.

Bought a m135 this weekend at a auction

I bought a M135 dump at a auction this weekend along with a bunch of parts that came with it. I'll have to do a bunch of reading now and find out all I can. These are pics of when it was parked in the garage a few days before the sale. I couldn't read the data tag, but looks like a m135 to me.

    please tell me im wrong

Nope, different one, but then again you never know. There were a few up here when the old SAC bases were here. I remember seeing them as a kid when they had the open houses every summer. My best memory was when a SR-71 flew in from California. The pilot was on the radio talking to the crowd...

    please tell me im wrong

That's a bummer. I thought I located a 10ton over by iron mountain a month ago. Guy had it for sale for 2 years with no takers, and he lives right next to a junk yard, so guess where it ended up. I'm over between Escanaba and Manistique south of us2

    m44

Will do. I'm supose to go back early next week, hopefully he's ready to get things out. He had two flat head engines sitting in his shed too, painted green, I'll get picks of them too. Again I wasn't sure what I was looking at, but one had lettering on the side that I think said "ites" Hard...

    m44

Thanks Bob H, now I got something I can sink my search teeth into. Did a search for the M37, found some pics, and it looks like a M37. I'll have to spit on the data plate this time to cut through the oxidation, but could of swore there was a 44 there. I'll see it again next week, he's supose...

    m44

I found a old truck today, looks to be a dodge painted yellow with govt. ID on the side, paint flaking with green paint underneath. Data plate says M44, or at least I thought it did, lots of white corrosion on it. Didn't get any pics, has a flat head 4cly gas pick up type truck 4X4. Is there...

    Intermittently dying during deceleration ????

I got my truck from GL, so hard to say what the life was before I got it. Only has 22K miles on it, but ya never know. I switched out many IP's but never a 6.2. Looks straight forward to me. I'll try a few things between rain showers and let you know how it turns out. Appreciate all the input.

    Intermittently dying during deceleration ????

Mohawk Dave, hope you don't mine me joining in with my truck too. If mine does 70 and you let off it will be just like you turned the key off. And when you put the put your foot back down on the peddle nothing is there until a second or two and then you can hear and feel it kick back in. I've...

    Intermittently dying during deceleration ????

Good thought CPAPPY, changing the filer to a spin on was on my list of things to do. The truck runs perfect, and only cuts out when your going down the highway at 55mph and you let your foot off the peddle. If I let my foot off slow it never quits. I/m guessing thats what Mohalk Daves truck...
