As not to start a new post.. here is what I have been up to..... New boots and serviced the wheel bearings (That does not look to be enough grease to me)...... and replaced the cups in the driver Wheel cylinder....

ok ... but you have a sprag... there are only two type of cases in the deuce air shift.. and sprag.. all the links I posted are for the sprag.... the other thing to do is Down load the TM's for your truck.
o man I know for a fact there are over 100 posts on how to adjust the sprag on the Deuce.

The killer deal with this bolt is its a "stepped" bolt.. the threads are a larger diameter then the bolt.. there is a TON of work to make one... My friend runs he 2ed shift of a place that makes PTO shafts, motor shafts, all that kind stuff and he said it would take a CNC a while to make one...
I would not check anything.... just order a new engine......
Really? come on! Do you have the TM's? Why on earth would you even talk about a new engine before you took a look at the filters, fuel pump, see what is in the tank, clean the injectors... ect...ect...ect
I do have to add...
Pat.. I already wend down that road with ARP.... Cost to made them made is just too high. Your talking $25 plus per bolt and that is with a Very large order.
I did find a Company that does have new rod bolts but at $42.50 each I said no. Your best bet is NOT going to ARP but finding a local...
Well I installed Westfolks Primary Fuel Filter kit (100% SWEET and a true bolt on) so I had the filter housing on the work bench and I was like "OMG I gotz a idea" I took the filter off the air pump (really NASTY, you all should take that out and clean it!!) and put in a 1/2NPT-5/8 hose fitting...
