It has boiled down to just the ones where there is some discrepancy, i.e. incorrect year, model, being listed as Hummer & not Am General, etc. With any M998 getting the most scrutiny.
Just be sure to dot your i's & cross your t's as the saying goes.

I had an issue like that years back, I took a fishing pole (yep you saw that correctly) hooked the leader into the lifter, removed the cam, lowered the lifter, reached through cam bearings with a spring loaded grabber and pulled it through (very gently at each bearing)
Didn't think of a...
Well shucks! I spent over a half hour on summit's site and couldn't find this.
(didn't even think of head studs)
Thanks, I'll be ordering them to replace the old used ones I ended up getting!
Scheduled a vacation day for Veterans Day! but ended up at work for the 1st half of the day. Now taking a break from working on a steel veteran this afternoon! finished up the Axle & spring install, have to get all the fluids goin' and adjust a shifter, fix a trans cooler line leak, tighten...
So far I have found that a couple lift makers supply a pair of Grade 8 bolts for this function. Which is likely the way I'm going. Not the best or safest, as a single course threaded bolt can't be torqued like a stud with fine threads at the nut.
the 3" long I listed above is all any fastener...
Ran into a snag here on the M882 plow truck
replacing the front springs with a set of 1 ton springs.
6 leafs now, at the differential there is one U bolt and a pair of studs on the other side.
These 9/16 double threaded studs are only 3" long, which is not long enough.
need at least 3-1/2" long...
Well shucks, the Dodge isn't adjustable like the Chevy.
Anyway, two pics 1st one is stock 1978, turned full left, the connecting rod is 18 inches long.
2nd pic is of a PS box from a 76 Ramcharger on my 77 M884, just used the box & pitman arm.
sounds like it wasn't centered when the link between box & axle was attached.
put it on jack stands, unhook steering arm from pitman arm,
verify wheels turn fully & return then to center
pitman arm needs to be perpendicular to the frame (pointing straight out)
adjust length of steering arm to...
There are diagrams in the TM's (pdf's in the TM section)
The blackout system is an add on to the stock Dodge wiring.
It connects in to the stock lighting system so as to disable the stock exterior lighting during blackout operations.
Junk yard, for parts off a 75 to 77 4x4, you would just need the gearbox w/pitman arm, pump, hoses & brackets.
Ramcharger, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton 1 ton 4x4 all the same parts.
To use parts from other years will require many more parts.
I know of no real list. Searching this forum will provide all the...
What is the idle speed in park once fully warmed up, choke fully off? in park?
Can we assume it stays running @ idle in gear when cold and the fast idle is active?
