I had the same problem when i recovered my 818. Damn thing has 4 batteries, and after charging, when put on a load, 2 of them would drop to 10 volts, and not start, just a click. Seems like the oth er 2 would carry the load, but not. Now I need a cheap source for some batts :roll:

I think rule of thumb is 10% tongue weight.

I have always used like 5 Lbs of 5/16" nuts, or lock washers in the tanks to shake around. You can count them, to make sure they all come back out!

Its a 2245 plug. If you have a friend at the parts store, you might get it a little cheaper, but not much.

That is a realy cool project!! :-D

It is most deffinitely a bad connection with the main cable. I think that where the volt meter picks up the voltage, so bad connection or wire. Just MHO
