just out of curiosity do you have the drawing for the 819 (or its predecessor) I understand the frame/crane was the same just a different powerpack and sheetmetal
as long as the metal surface that contacts the delrin is not pitted/scarred I would leave them alone. Of course the only way you could check is to destroy the joint, that or become close friends with a radiologist who likes green iron.

rofl My first thought when I read the title of this thread was that you were asking if owning a m37 qualifies you for loyalty incentives at the chrysler dealer!
mine is bolted directly to the side panel, where the intake for the heater is flush w/ the opening. seems like a good idea, but you can't lower the side panel w/o raising the hood, and when you do it stresses the hoses.
