Texas anybody? I think you can take a bill of sale to the tax office here and get one of thier agents to verify the VIN and you have a title. I asked the folks at my local tax office and they had no clue what a SF97 was, but had titled MV's before. Sarge you out there???

Cool picks, thanks. It looks like I could just cut the seem on the hood cawling on either side and splice a new piece in.Only the part where the hood attatches needs replacement.

I was a "tin bender/bubble chaser" on Navy aircraft. So I think I might take my chances. If I do a good job maybe we can sticky a thread. My wife said the name "Dixie" was just a name for me trying to compansate for my shortcommings, what ever that is supposed to mean.
Thanks

On a side note. I just went and screened my truck and it was doing the same thing. I guess if you ask the same question enough you can get what you are looking for. Mine was peged at 120psi. and now I know how to deal with it. Thanks SS guys.

The duce I bought is a good runner but has some rust issues. Nothing for the most part that is not R&R. But the pannel where the hood is attachedup next to the cab is pretty bad and may need replacing. Is this part of the cab or can one be cut out and replaced with a good one?

Yea sorry bout' that. I work in the service area at a car dealership and you get used to using third grade words with people who can't understand why thier car quits when it is out of coolant.

Did the search thing and couldn't find the answer. I saw a post just recently about the blinkers but I want to make sure that I know what I am looking for. I went and screened my truck yesterday and everthing was good but the blinkers. I couldn't test brake light cause I was there by myself. I...
Thanks guy's. The trucks running gear is as clean as wind driven snow. Now the cab and front body, that is a story for a different day. My five year old said it looked cool that way. What ever that is supposed to mean. Please dig up that TM for me. For some reason I can't download all of them...
Opps. I forgot to ask. I could not get the blinkers to work either. The RR light was out but when I turned the blinker on, the light near the switch just stayed on with no blink, blink, blink. Did I mis something? Thought I had the dash switch in the right place. :?

I just got back from a 710 mile round trip to check on my truck I bought. I fired up after some time with the batteries on the jumper cables and it has a whisler turbo! Anyway, it some rust problems but it runs like a top. My question is this, The air gauge was peged at 120 psi. Is this ok? I...
I agree with getting to know what/when to do things. I just one my first duce, but, I did a lot of reading on this website to get the ins and outs of them first. I also asked a lot of questions. I am lucky to have have to Army guys who worked on them to help me along if I have problems.
