Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

Oh, you're lowering it.... I was thinking when I get new seats i might need to raise the steering wheel.

Not much to report on outside of getting a metal grill, powder-coating it and updating the number plate. Been applying dynomat to the interior and working on cutting some shades to size so it's not as blistering hot in the cab as summer approaches. Still working on figuring out the bend in the...

Anyone swap out their steering wheel?

I've been looking at steering wheels for a while and haven't had a lot of luck. Pointman, will the new machined part work with the blinkers? I know there was a thread somewhere that told how to set up the original steering wheel to have terminating blinkers.

So I'm noticing the fenders are just not made for the vehicle and I'm struggling with what to do next. here’s the deal... the one on the left is bolted on the top and front... notice the bend? The one on the right is only bolted on the top. So here is the question... do reinforce the underside...

Parking light wire number matching game

Windshield Washer Pump I put my windshield washer reservoir back in recently and this thing is leaking pretty bad, How does this tighten in the bottle? Are there any o-rings I should purchase prior to dealing with it? Ignore the attachment, I can't get rid of it.

    LED Replacement Light Questions

I'm in the same boat, I have done a write-up on some of the marker lights, turn signals and blinkers but I have yet to dive into headlights because I haven't really seen anything that I loved or was priced so low it might just be garbage.

This was a thought, but I couldn't justify buying one, then redoing the interior.

I agree, there has to be some mechanism in place to make sure it all lowers and raises at the same rate.

This is pretty incredible, it does require the tire, coolant, hydraulics, gas tank amongst other things to be moved.... which is where i get a little gun shy. I also love that you figured out how to tuck a motorcycle under the bed.

Coachgeo, I've been leaning towards the 3/4 system because I am essentially building a box without a top for the habitat. Therefore, any little torque will rack the box. If I was just building a straight box on the top I would probably do the same thing you are. I've seen the sprigs for the...

Thanks for the intel, and I don't know which side of the fence i fall on either. I would certainly prefer to build cross supports over the back of the frame to reinforce the frame and call it a day as opposed to spending a good deal of money/time on a 3/4 system. If I could find a way to...

No I powder coated everything I could remove, So anything welded to the cab was hit with a color matched paint. I use a company that has Cardinal powdercoat and they have the spray paint as well.

You are farther ahead of your build then I am. (still sorting out mechanical problems). Thank you for sharing this design. I really like it. It's great to visualize how much you can pack into the space. Well I have to pay people to sort out mechanical issues so at least you can do it on your...
