Does anyone know what the interchangeability is for the M1009?

The buyer needs to do his homework. I've inspected and won some pretty nice stuff from GovL. There is no possible way they can know the condition of every item they sell and if you read carefully, it will tell you this.
BTW, if you bid within the last 15 minutes, the auction will automatically...
Thanks what my problem was!!!

I just bought an all black turn signal / washer arm from GM and it looks right at home in a mil vehicle as compared with the chrome one.
The arm seems to have a lot of play in it, so I'm hoping the switch will fix that problem.

Does anyone know if you can put a delay type switch for the windshield washer in the M1009?
Also, when I turn off my switch - the wiper blades stop where they are...and don't go back down.
Does anyone have this problem of their's not going back down???
How to fix?
Where to get...
I went with a GM OEM dash, black in color, in original box. So, I think it will fit as it should with no issues...that is what I want - no issues!
I ahte it when you buy something that does not fit. OEM cures taht problem.
My GM OEM door panels are charcoal black and I've tinted my...
I have a trophy shop that does it here in San Deigo. They do a real nice job.
If you want, you can send me your data plate and I can have them do it, but I'm sure you have a trophy / engraving shop where you live and they could probably do the same thing.
Just make sure you get a sample of...
Desert Rat,
I have a local upholsterer do all my work. He charged me 97.00 to cover the driver seat. I used heavy duty foam.I have to pick up my passenger seat when I have some time.
I made new plywood bases for the bottoms and backs, as I didn't like the military's contruction...
Hi Gary,
The "Jockey box" has yet to be restored...I'm looking for a velvet lining, perhaps Mob red! Or maybe I'll go down to T.J. and buy a cheap velvet Elvis painting and line it with that.
The dash is done...see photo at bottom...
I had the data plate professionally engraved. It turned out...
What are you guys running for tires?
Brand, size, wheels (stock or after market)?
And how has the increase in tire size affected your gas mileage, handling, and fender clearance?
I would like to know if I went to 32" or 33" if I would have any problems. I don't want to get too far...
I just herculined my deuce floors and the stuff is great! It is very easy to apply and looks and feels very durable.
My wife wanted some civilian ammenities...

And I'm having a great time driving her! Goerge...thanks for all your help. I got the radio tray. In the military drawing for installation, it shows a couple spacers that go between the tray you sent me and the radio mount. Do you know where to get these spacers?
The universal kit i bought has...
Does anyone have "real gauges" hooked up on their CUCVs? I would like to know what the motor is doing and hate the idiot lights that usually come on when it is too late.
Are there locations to put sending units for the coolant temp gauge and oil pressure?

I don't think so, since it is going to rotate in normal operation. It is just that the rotation source is coming from the rear wheels instead of the transmission.
When we impound vehicles through the police, they are usually always towed with the front of the vehicle being attached to the tow...
Here are two photos of my duece seat. I made a plywood back out of 3/4" finish grade plywood, and attached it to the seat back panel with 1/4-28 bolts. Don't forget to drill the wood back panels for air release or you'll sit down and the seat will remain a bit depressed. The foam I used is...
