I use this pictured multi-meter FIELDPIECE # LT83, made in Taiwan, which reads both A/C and D/C volts, and it has a ringer for continuity that I find very helpful. For amperage readings I use AMPROBE, clamp on, which reads amps in both A/C and D/C up to 600.
I went to NAPA and was able to purchase ,that is, order, and receive the next day, 1/2" inverted flare nuts . This is the one fitting I needed to work with when installing a new fuel tank on my M185A3.

Thank You, And because I now live in Florida, I enjoy driving with no top and the windshield folded down, but have to be able to easily reinstall because of the rains... I did succeed in removing and replacing the hardtop myself, but it was too hard to do, and I banged it all up...
I would like to convert to a soft top too, but how do I get the canvas to cooperate when I have to slide it into the tubular receptor over the windshield? its always difficult for me, am I doing something wrong?
Installed two new GEL batteries : AUTOCRAFT PLATINUM, at 750 CCA's. They were alt less than OPTIMA batteries and I found the original hold-down hardware in place, which I reused. Thee truck now starts with a ROAR !
The first Deuce I had used a spring loaded , normally closed valve, so that you pulled on the valve body to open it and drain the water; once you let go of the cord, the valves would close tight.
