James you make all of us with little trucks jealous ! ( compared to the M911 a 5 ton is little ! ) You should park the M1009 on the trailer for the people that don't know exactly how big it really is !
I took mine on a 150 mile trip at 60 mph and they didn't even get warm , I don't think you'll work them as hard as the military will .
USA6X6 , even if you get it on time doesn't mean it will be right . I got my 6 tires and wheels all mounted ( I did it myself ) only to find out all the center...
Just double check with the park so we don't end up like last time , I'm in I'll see what I can dig up for sale or trade !Maybe some humvee brushguards or a towbar or two ! If I can mount my little shelter on the tractor I'd have somewhere to sleep and it might ride better ! Maybe tow the bronco...
Kudos Dad !!! Best investment you can make in your childrens lives are your personal time with them ! As mine get older the time I get to spend with them seems to grow shorter every year .
Yeah someone up here keeps bidding the flatbeds through the roof so I think I'll have to make one ! I thought about setting the van onto the bridgetruck and making the trailer into a flatbed like miltrucks ( his is cool !!! )
I always thought a bus was a good option for a cheap camper ! Did you find out about why your tracking is off ? I enjoy reading about roadtrips ( yours was interesting ) and your lucky it could have been much worse .
Oh by the way love the RR crossing sign !
I've gotten some really good deals at GL and I think you couldn't find a better market for them to advertise in ! Welcome aboard GL , you should have done it sooner !
By the way , everything in my profile came from GL or GSA .
RE: Re: RE: Converted van trailer to flatbed ?
Thanks thats a really sharp trailer ! I've been wanting a flatbed and that would work perfect , Thanks for the extra pics ! Mark
Alright I've searched all over on here and I give up ! Someone took an expandeable van trailer , took the body off and made a flatbed out of it with a beavertail and ramps . Whoever did can you post pics or PM them to me ? I think they only posted one pic if they have more I'd like to see them...
