i ask due to uncertainty in my own mind. i didnt think about getting more front lugs vs different holes being better or worse either way. i just ask to see what is preferred. both on the subject of strength and concentric's
on the topic of studs do you maintain the factory wheel studs? also since these wheels are singles is the stud hole in the center smaller than the standard wheel? i.e. the deuce stock wheel has a center hole of 6.5 inches and stud holes of aprox 1.137" this is ti accommodate the dual nuts for...
another thought came across my mind. what if i use the centers out of the 2.5. they are already to spec and i would just have to cut them out and weld to the dish of the hemtt. dial indicator and level table of course. i will be leaving most of the concave dish shape and just using the wheel...
i must be in between years and aggravation. i called the shop and 25 a tire to debead. i have been at it 3 days now and feel 3 more days is what i need to call in support. and for the comparison i am 27. at 18 it was pride and no way someone else would show me how to do things. where i am...
i want to build similar plates on the laser. what thickness are they? would a 3/8s plate welded both sides to the hemtt wheels be strong enough at a total of 12 inches max across? or do i need a thicker one? what are the ones made of in the photos?
here are a few more pics i have these are the point they are all too. i have the back bead off for sure. i must not have the front side off yet even though the lock ring and inner ring is off. this is my blazer on the wheel and the tire on the cinder blocks and no downward deflection at all...
Jones do you have a pic of this tool you have or made? i tried a few different things like i thought you meant but i can seem to get them to work. i may be too anxious with the hammer to get it in there and keep bending it. also i cannot for the life of me get the tire to come up at all. not...
oh yeah the soapy water. i used about a gallon of that and also about half a can of wd40 on one, it was just an idea.
also have you found it easier to lift the wheel half out of the tire or did it seem to work better to have the wheel sit on something like a bucket and have the tire fall off...
i have recently came across what i believe to be a good deal on some 10 lug standard wheels. not combat. i got the lock rings off and the first bead ring. i got the other side bead broke off the rim but i think the rim is stuck to the liner inside. one of them came out with some coaxing but...
10 inches wide. does any other specs come to mind? like back spacing or weight or single o two piece. i thought these were tubeless but seen the ones a the yard had tubes. this confused me
i actually dont have the specifics of what model they are. i also forgot that there was so many models over the years. the questions are for a friend that has a set of axles he is planning on putting under a rock buggy. he found a set out of canada for the same price as the 2.5 ton deuce axles...
what is the differences between mogs with disc brakes vs. drums? is the purpose of the disc brake trucks different or just a change in years and technology. can i replace a drum setup with a complete disk setup or are the hubs and torq tubes different. also will i have to replace the master...
it looks as if the spacing would be right under the bed side with an 11-20. is that wheel wide enough to support a 395/85r20 or perhaps a 16r20 assuming the truck has either been bobbed or the tandems have been seperated of course
