Back in the days, Motor Pool Sarge would take "Volunteers" for Sat. duty, one bucket of paint and many brushes and you painted anything that didn't have paint on it. Except the wrecker, that was his and Off limit unless he was watching you.

The pickup truck size ones? Anything is possible but I think the Air Force Blue would have been used for base vehicles and not the tactical vehicles which would have carried these shelters. IMO

These are newer DMV folks, made to follow their rules and if you don't get too far out of their comfort zone things tend to have a happier outcome.
The LEO still has to verify the G/L form before it is returned to them and THEN you get the SF 97 which then you show the DMV. Right?

If you use the number on the dataplates they are not going to be in any DMV database but if you are ever checked on the road you don't want two numbers on the vehicle.

If you just carry Liability your adjuster will not need to see your vehicle, because they have no interest in it. Adjusters just fixed cost to repair.
