Sale 4991- EUCs stuck at GL?

I was tired of waiting for the EUC to clear on that sale, wrote info@govliquidation.com, and told them to refund my money when it was 60 days. They cancelled the sale and had a full refund credited back to me in two days. The XM813 at Redstone is the relisted item.

What sort of welder are you using for this? All I have right now is the oxyacetylene torch setup, so I am planning on buying a nice Micro Inert Gas or Tungsten Inert Gas welder sometime in the near future. Which would you recommend? I am leaning toward the TIG, and I have seen a few on GL, but...

    Making Oil Change Easier

I guess I am a little out in left field here. I use 5 and a 1/2 of the gallon jugs of rotella synthetic with each change and get twice the mileage between changes with it.

    Towing a deuce

I had one of the best men for the job tow one of my deuces with one of my other deuces using his towbar. It was a trip through about 80 miles of Alabama's finest hills, and we had a fan club behind us on a few telling us we were #1... Anyway, I would use a towbar and the same size or larger...

What to look for on GL

In answer to the question on GL bidding, I have found looking over the pics well and figuring out your very maximum amount you would be willing to pay, then putting that bid in and hitting auto bid, and not looking back until the auction is over, is the best way to avoid getting into a bid war...

    Deuce went fishing

I'll be taking my M109 from our house in Alabama to the one in Florida, which is about 450 miles one-way, next Monday, only I won't be alone. There will be 4 Rottweilers in the back and a Jack Russell terrrier in the cab with me. Needless to say, i think I will be glad to get to our destination...

    Lifting a Bobbed Deuce

Would you, could you, please, pretty please, show us a closeup of your steering mechanism. My eyes just can't seem to focus enough to see it well in the last photo. Those tires are the perfect size for that rig. I hope you don't mind if some of us play copy-cat, after all, imitation is the...

    Lifting a Bobbed Deuce

Only two problems I see here: 1) Your non-military vehicles are Fords, when they really should be Chevys ;-)~ 2) I moved from MI too soon - now how can I get you to weld up some of those brackets for my deuces? I don't think they can be made any better.

Looking to buy a HMMWV, What do i look for?

You also will need some stock in an oil company since they get pretty lousy mileage... My buddy bought one (a hummer, and not the good kind [thumbzup]) in TN for some $60k, and quickly figured out he was getting about 8 - 10 MPG, and that was with no hills and a nice breeze from behind. The...

real nice CUCV m1028 on ebay in NJ

Yeah, I think they drank the bong water shortly before making up that price list. I know I wouldn't pay $3k for a front end with a LS diff. As far as rebuilding them, you don't usually have to re-set the carrier or pinion if you are not changing anything but seals, but if you are changing...

    After Submitted Battle Creek!

This is what I wrote to GL to get my refund: Today is 4/24/2010. This makes it officially 60 days since the EUC began assessment at Battle Creek . Since I have not been notified by now, I demand a full refund back to my credit card. If I do not hear from you by COB this Monday, 2/26/2010, I...

    Ram Air for CUCV?

I found giong to an electric fan and electric fuel pump made a significant difference in acceleration with my fleet of 6.2s. I go to junk yards and look for FWD Caddillacs with the 4100 V8, and rob thier fan settup. I can usually get everything I need for the mod for about $25. The main area I...
