So what rules go along with selling a deuce? I know I have to make sure they're an American citizen, but do I have to get them to fill out an EUC and send it in or can I just sell it? Am I liable if they try and sell it to a foreign national/government? I am the initial purchaser from GL and...
I fixed a few things that needed to be done from the PO's work. This truck has so much hacked wiring it isn't funny. I think I have fixed all the major fire hazards. I found a wire today that was strung loosely along the frame and the insulation had been melted by the exhaust. I really need...
So it turns out the circuit I tied into for the fuel pump was controled by the blackout switch. I accidentally flipped the switch so no fuel pump... I spent several hours undoing everything I had done and then I figured it out. Sometimes I feel like a moron.
So I finally got my truck going the other day and I've been getting it ready for inspection. I was wiring up the horn today (not the stock way) and all of the sudden I lost all the power to my fuse block (which my new electric fuel pump is running through). The only thing I can figure is that...
That's the one I was looking for! I was looking through my TMs and I could only find the other one posted above. That one is much easier to read. Thanks!
Holy old topic!
I just learned this when installing my electric fuel pump. Hope I didn't hurt it... Figured I'd bump so the newer guys (like me) could benefit.
Are all the other fuses in the box 12v? What would be a good one to tap into if I want my pump to turn off with the key...
It all has to do with the weight of the truck, the design of the axle shafts, and how heavy your right foot is. The first thing to go in a 10 bolt is the axle shafts, primarily at the ujoint. Toyotas can run larger tires because they weigh a lot less, so there is a lot less torque on the...
If you put a * after the word up (up*) it should search for the word because it will look for partial matches. At least, it works on another forum I'm on.
Don's bobbed deuce might be able to get in there without sinking. I bet you will be able to get in there no problem if you wait for your 53s to come and put them on the tractor.
what if everyone was to write like this all the time can you figure out what im trying to say the first time you read this i bet you have to go over it a few times to figure out where the breaks in speech are that signify a new sentence how is this for helping you get back to the garage quickly...
You know, people would get a lot more information out of your posts if you would use a punctuation mark every now and then. I always have to read what you write several times to figure out what you're actually trying to say.

I think you'd have better luck getting a jack handle from napa and/or trying to pull the trailer out with the winch. You shouldn't really have to raise the trailer to get it to skid some. You could even put some steel sheets in it's path to make it skid easier. I'd try anything before I paid...
Holy cow! And I thought you might be upset about the grass I tore up backing that tan truck into a spot!
Wish I could have been there for that one. I always enjoy a good recovery!
You might be a redneck if.....
(I've been there, done that... Just not to quite the same extreme!)
My C turbo truck has a little trouble starting if it is below 50F outside but runs great once it gets going. The D turbo truck I picked up with it starts immediately, but doesn't seem to have nearly the power that the C truck does. The C truck also smokes a little more than the D truck.
