So I've been running my M1009 for about 2 weeks. I noticed when it got up to about 55mph, I started getting a pretty bad vibration. I had checked the driveshaft and hadn't noticed any forklift dents. But, I crawled under there again anyway and checked it out. Nothing. I couldn't figure out...
The photos are the biggest thing, I would think. I'm an admin on a small local board, and it seems that they are what burn up the most bandwidth. Since SS requires you to use their bandwidth to post/view pics, this would seem to make sense. Why let freeloaders (which, admittedly, I am right...
I agree that Robyn was less than helpful. And there is a lot of bashing here about GL. I would guess that most, if not all, is well deserved. I participated in it. The sales event I participated in was horribly mishandled. If Robyn had really been here to learn and listen, that never should...
Thanks guys..
319: Thats exactly what I needed. I knew something was broken off the dash there, so I just need to do like you did and put a bolt there. As far as the little clip, does it get a screw or anything, or is just held on by friction?
I'll have to check the blackout marker light...
First, fired right up. Runs great. Checked all fluids - full and clean. Tires needed a little air, but looked good (looks aren't everything!). One of the tires was a uniroyal, while the rest including the spare were goodyear wranglers. Took it for a spin, ran to the gas station to fill it...
Thanks CARNAC!
Maintenance battalion, eh? I guess maybe that's why its in such well maintained shape. =). I can also say that it must have "belonged" to a MSGT Johnson, as on the windshield, just above the dash on the driver's side I can see where there used to be lettering that said his...

Just an FYI - I got my paid in full on Tuesday from 3577. EUC was sent to BC on 9/19.
Maybe you're getting close!

ps - I got my paid in full on Tuesday, and my DLA letter didn't arrive until today.
Wow! Thanks! Any idea what the rack/box thing is in the cargo area? I love it too - a BRAND NEW spare!!
I see the pic underneath, but its blurry. Were you able to tell if the driveshaft was OK or dented?
I owe you a beer!
Mike, my sale # is 3577, lot # 8660. Any pics you could take would be great. I think I'm going to have 100dollarman pick mine up for me, but I wonder if my truck is still in the same condition as when I bid/ =)
Can you peek under it as well and check the driveshafts?
Thanks!!
Brice
