    hello wildboy6x6, and I dont remember as i sold that soldier a few years ago, but I do remember a marked increase in speed, and because the M37 also has a transfer case, I still had the use of a "low end" for pulling or whatever. It may have been 5:11? :beer:

    Thank You.And now I am thinking about alternatives: I have seen surplus axles from 5 tonners with Detriot Lockers in them, is any of the gearset parts transferrable from these to the deuce?

    Hello Deuce owners, and when I had my M37, I put in 4:89 axle gears and increased the speed of the vehicle. Has anyone done this with the Deuce axles ratio? :shock:

    I remember , 20 years ago, talking to a man involverd with #2, and #4, and #6 heating oil recovery, and how they would not accept transformer oil. I guess it doesn't burn in commercial burners But in light of this post, I will seek oiut this type oil;. Thank U steel soldiers:doghead:

    Well now! I see I do not have an M35A2 afterall, because my truck does not have the turbo. So I have an M35A1 ! Thank you for that clarification. By the way, I have already purchased a NOS turbo, and a kit to complete the turbo installation...Just love that whisteling :carnac:

    Hello hndrsonj, And I was looking for injector lines. I have already purchased them from Memphis Equipment, and I may need an injector pump for my M109...( I hope not)

    Hello rosco, And the dealer who sold me this truck says that there are three engine manufacturers, White, and also Herculies and Continental. I think I shall take my magnifying glass and look at the tag again, maybe Ill see some more...;-)
