Unless you have a motor pool crew working on the truck at the same time, there is no need to print all, just print the pages you are going to work on at that time, if you don't mess them up after working, save them in a three ring binder.

Yep it is a pain and the TM doesn't go into a lot of details for this.
You'll need a steering wheel puller to start and then there is another plate to remove, GM makes a special tool for that but it can be removed without it.
Be sure to double check the turn signals functions before closing...

You didn't say which tent but I bought some that had a small kit sewn into the bottom edge.
They do have a larger size but the ones I've seen sell on G/L went for a good chunk.
You can just use some vinyl pieces and a good waterproof glue for patches. Wayne
Looks like the M107 Water tanks trailers, they are just the plain M103 chassis.The M149 I've seen have special axles with shocks and the running board/fenders have a step mount on the ends.
You can run dual without any problem but like said above that will not increase the load carrying any...

BTW I've never used one but from reading on the SS site the whiffle tree is mounted on the bumper shackle brackets and not the shackles themselves but on your pictures it looks as if the bow in the whiffle is in the way?
