Here is a photo from the previous owner. As you can see, I will be making some changes. 5th wheel gear and a new paint job for sure.

Here goes my first recovery... er.... pickup from a private seller. You decide if it is a recovery. It will be a medium distance. (201 Miles) One thing going for me is that the owner says it is in good running condition. It is a former brush fire truck. I bought it sight-unseen. Wish me luck...

P.S. Anyone ever thought about going the other direction with a Deuce? 6x6 to 8x8..... Hmmmm....

You are a brave man hauling that deuce with a 3/4 ton truck! Amazing! How did it handle all that weight?

That is the idea I had as well. I just got a fifth wheel plate from a wrecked semi. (Uncle owns a trucking company).... I would like to make this a bolt on/off situation if possible. Let me know what you come up with.
