I submitted one on the 19th and it still hadn't changed as of today so I did the Live Chat and found out it's been sent to Battle Creek but still hasn't been updated on the GL site yet.
I didn't get to see the updated pictures. What did they show that they hadn't earlier? GL made 18-20 grand in that batch. I'm sure they're going to look for more and maybe split them into smaller lots next time.
I'm getting my 1009 this week and I'm planning on 3 20mm ammo cans - one between the seats for the control unit and two in the back for speakers. I'm going to put quick connect fittings on them so I can pop them out if I'm taking it to a show.
I'm pretty much in the same situation. I sent my stuff Thursday immediatly after the sale closed and got the confirmation email. I went on Live Chat yesterday and they said "wait until Thursday." If tomorrow they tell me it was never recieved I'm going to be displeased to say the least.
I have to agree. You can buy a truck the govt paid $42k for (whether overpriced or not) for around $1500 knowing that if it's a decent runner you can sell it on eBay for $3k. Quit yer bitchin'
Congrats on the recovery! My EUC cleared for my 1009 at Redstone now it's just a matter of getting there to pick it up. I've got a longer drive but should be able to do 65mph without too much trouble.
Get on the Live Help on the GL website and you'll be communicating with an actual person. They can email you a copy of it and if you send it right back you can probably keep up the conversation until they verify it's been recieved. Or get the person's name and see if you can email it to their...
I was probably bidding against you but I gave up early. I missed inspecting the one at Ft Sam only to find out later that it was practically brand new.
If nothing else call a storage warehouse in the area for outdoor storage and then call a wrecker to move it for you. You don't want to take a hit with GL for abandoning a bid.
If you didn't send one in you're not going to get your EUC back so I would suggest linking up with the live chat on GL and asking them to send you a copy.
I didn't know the first time and didn't find out until they sent me a request for an EUC revision. She sent me a copy of the letter then and I just made sure for my next one I sent it along too.
I didn't know about the export letter for my first EUC so had to send it later. For my second purchase (Thursday) I emailed everything right after the sale and confirmed that it was recieved even though I hadn't gotten an invoice yet.
Sumoman ran afoul of the moderators (for good reason so don't flame me) while offering some assistance to SS members regarding auctions. Someone suggested starting another thread that wasn't quite as sensitive but I haven't noticed one yet so here goes.
If anyone needs a preview, inspection...

Basically 22 days from start to finish so I guess that's better...
Tell your friend not to expect to drive the 818 home. Rod ran off a list of things wrong with it but unfortunately I have a hole in my brain so can't seem to retain anything more than 5 minutes. I just recall him saying the buyer might be surprised when they picked it up.
I didn't do more than glance over her while I was out there. Looked pretty solid other than the missing parts but that was enough to scare me off.
PM me a list of things you'd like looked over and I can go back out Monday and snap some more pictures for you.
I'm going to check if I can go out and preview them. There is supposed to be about 20 coming up for sale.
Sorry I missed the meeting last night. I helped clean up after a guy took some trees down and the MS kicked my behind.
