I had some issues the first time I went to the DMV so I told them I would come back when I resolved their issue - this DMV was the one closest one to my house, so I chose one a little further away - they were very easy to deal with and did not require all sorts of silly things, I took a number...
Man, that's a tough one - you just have to play with them - it will depend on how worn the springs you are using - how much lift you are trying for - there are a lot of variables - go slowly
MAKE THEM THE SAME on both sides
and if you have access to a sand blaster, knock off all that scale and...
The dually fenders ARE fairly scarce. and the CORRECT milspec dually upgrade kit are unotainium these days
you would like a dually, I love mine - but you CAN swap out the hubs and put the dually wheels, springs, etc from a civy truck if you wanted to
wheels are going for about $75 per copy in...
I read all of this and I find it interesting that everyone seems to get AWAY from the Interstate 6TL's - mainly listing cost as the reason
AND NONE OF YOU seem to get more than two or three years.
I just replaced all six of my 6TL's in my three CUCV's last year - four of the six had lasted...
I've read the whole thing, start to finish... this is so typical of this family
I gotta tell all you folks here, these people are quite literally some of the finest people my wife and I have ever met.
What you don't see or hear is that they are farmers - third gen if memory serves with JR...

Would a dually Suburban work for you? Here's one that did not sell on Ebay about two weeks ago.
GMC : Suburban GMC : Suburban | eBay

or perhaps one that is a newer version...
The ability to pull all sorts of stuff
from extra heavy weight in the bed - aka S250 comm box
or being able to tow a load - mine pulls an M101 really nicely, even heavily loaded
Love what you've done. Inspirational to be sure. "You got skills" is how TC said it in Knight and Day...
I gotta ask. With the Banks Turbo, did you upgrade (enlarge) the injector tips? Just curious how much you upped the fuel mix to and did you do it with just upping the fuel mix or that...
OLD AG,
you still looking for those camo nettings sets? Try Dragon Man out of Colorado Springs - i got two new set with two sets (one large, one med) net in them for $125, plus you would need to add s&h from Co to Tx.
But they are brand new issue - don't know how they come out of GL, but they...
that might be a great addition for the classifieds -
kind of a 'free stuff' forum
or a 'swap meet' forum
that type of thing?
but you can't post ad's in the classified unless you are a member so that may be problematic
GOING BACK to 24v is fairly easy
I've done a couple of CUCV's of mine over the years that were converted to 12v
it is really easy
welcome to the green addiction - is that your 1009 in your avatar?
and yeah, DOWNLOAD the TM's
I've got them all and when I need something, I look it up - THEN I...
what TyJustice said
you DO actually need both of them... I know, I know - an expense that is hard to swallow, but you would then have the ability to tow one with the other - use one to jump the other to start and to use one against the other as a polish blue print
