I know where you are coming from, Brother. I kiss off $160 a month in RV storage lot fees for my 5 Ton just to avoid these sort of calamities.
I love looking at it out of my front window, but I always take it back to storage before night. I feel kind of restricted to when I can drive and work...
Soni,
I bet this is the same "knuckle-dragger" type who complains about coal smoke from the local money maker. Kind of like those "college town numb-skulls" over in Durango.
How 'bout your ne'er-do-well neighbor sell his "deflated" valued property to me and we can play army trucks all we...
You know, my wife "vents" sometimes...and I don't mean by the mouth:oops::-D!
Back on track here. Gotta service my 5 ton's transmission and transfer case vents.
Big Hoss is one big handsome fella. Still like my shorty 818 bobber, but that bed is impressive.
Be safe across the water. We'll catch you when you return.
Godspeed and Thank you for your service.
If you get hassled just say you're going to "show" it as a "historical artifact" at a local school or church or something. There are always "car shows" going on. It is your word against the LEO's. If LEOs know what's good for them they'd snap a salute and wave you on by.
They also cannot deny...
Catchy! Love those Tonka Trucks...I almost named my truck after a 1958 Tonka Dump Truck which was called "Big Mike". BTW...These trucks are highly collectible...when you can find them. See the pics...(Photo Credit to www.tonkatoys.com)
No long road trips for me yet. I store the truck off-site and I just drive it to the house to do some upgrade work and indoctrinate the neighbors. I like to take different routes home and "terrorize" the West Los Angeles Libs in their Hybrids:twisted:. Between the growl of the NHC250 and my...
NICE! Beautiful truck.:drool::drool::drool::drool:
What a fine way to haul railroad equipment. Chama, huh?? Love that place!! Narrow gauge heaven. I am part of the Friends of the C&TS. Are you a "Friend" or an employee of C&TS?
Does the C&TS still have that awesome 5 Ton Fire/Brush Truck??
We're there, Dude! Hannibal says sign me up. I just hope it won't conflict with the Prius Owners of Northern California Rally in Berkley (JK:twisted:).
"Burma Jeep" disappears in Los Angeles.
Anybody lay claim to or know what happened to the Ford GTB "Burma Jeep" that was parked in the front yard of a home on Slauson Ave near Jefferson Bl next to the 405 freeway. I believe the neighborhood is L.A. city just outside of Culver City.
It...
If that doesn't go against the motto"Safety First", then I don't know what does. I do not see the logic in disabling the brakes:confused:. You would think they would want to keep the trucks from rolling away. Its like having a yard full of huge roller skates.
Hay (no pun intended:wink:)... As long as you get from Point A to Point B safely who cares how slow you go. Looks like you went in style and with full military honors. The 818 looks good!
The 3300923-S numbered kit is correct. It's horizontal mounting and includes the bolt plus everything else you'll need for conversion. I have one on my truck. WillWagner helped me get the kit.

Almost got my yard waste can yesterday. I put it out at the curb in front of the truck , for trash day today, and I remembered it the last second as I was pulling away:doh:. That hood sure sticks way out there. No plastic casualties, thank God.
