Try this link. I have them and I am currently installing them. You'll have to cut off about a 1/4" from the shank and drill out one of the holes to about 15/64" to 1/4' for screws to line up properly. I also plan on getting some tamper proof torx machine screws. They can be installed horizontal...
It was probably lurking about the ranch. Took me about two seconds in the drive way to zero in on it. I told my son "Whoa! It's a 5 Ton!" He replied, "Cool!" My MV senses were already heightened as I was anticipating my Pinzie ride-a-long. I would of paid extra for a tour of the ranch in it.
There was a Clark Truck parts, Inc. tag down in the lower corner of the driver's door. I've seen their product on their website and You-Tube. They do some really nice refurbing. The truck definitely was not a "GL Jalopy". How long the ranch has had the truck, I don't know. Little if no rust at...
Went to to the Kualoa Ranch on the Windward (east) side of Oahu with the family last week. Found this ole' girl still putterin' around. If you look carefully she blends in real well with the wild life. That's my boy wearing his Mack Truck shirt standing on the running board.
Found...
This fine collection is at the Kualoa Ranch on the Windward (east) side of Oahu. They call it the Jungle Expedition tour. My son and loved it. Check it out if you ever over there.
Found an M817 5 Ton Dump Truck too. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/5-ton-up/41432-lonely-m817-ranch-hand.html
LA County Sheriff Emergency Operations Bureau (EOB) has one and maybe two, if I'm correct, of these emergency operations vans. Saw at least one at the big "Station" fire command post. However, they have twin screw tandems on the rear. We also have tractor/trailer set ups. They are equipped with...
I use firefox and have for sometime now. Much, much better than IE. I have never been timed out on this site. Firefox has a master password option. You enter it once a day and all your saved password sites open logged in.
I am using IE at work right now and it has not timed out on me. Not...
I am currently finalizing shipping arrangements and awaiting a few small additions to my M818. Here are some preliminary pics.
I have also chosen a name: Hannibal 8
For those of you movie buffs, you'll know the name comes from Blake Edwards' "The Great Race" with Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and...
What a bargain!! The cheapest I have found is $160/month in West Los Angeles and nothing enclosed. I wouldn't have this problem if my drive way was a couple feet wider. My city does not bother you if the vehicle is parked in your driveway.
Why is there always that one neighbor who is "threatened" by everything? These are the folks that will turn you into Code Enforcement for changing a light switch.
The truck is not parked in front of their house...right?...What ever happened to "mind your own business".
Quick :rant::I have...
In California anything over 6000lbs gross having three (3) axles requires a commercial Class B which includes the medical card.
Ref. CVC12804.9(b)(2) and California Commercial Driver Handbook 2009 (pg. 1). These sections are for operators licensing only and do not include registration issues.
You should try driving in the Los Angeles area. If you have more than 1/2 second distance between you and the guy in front of you, a Smart Car or Prius will jump in and slam on his brakes....guaranteed. If you slow it down, then they are practically riding in your bed.
Try installing a...
Thanks for all the quick response. As it stands, I have a yellow ribbon, the US Flag and my old unit decals on my F-150. Nothing political. I think I'll keep like that on my MV.
Plus the Mayor/Councilman of my town lives across the street. Think I'd like to stay in his good graces.
Thanks to...
I am pondering whether or not I should place politically motivated messages (on magnetic backing of course) on the tailgate of my MV.
I want to exercise my 1st Amendment rights. However, I don't want to ruffle the feathers of the MV naysayers. I'm sure there are plenty out here in...
Used to live in Rancho Cucamonga...off Summit, N/E corner of Rancho, the Wind Tunnel...for a short while. Frequented your area quite a bit. Had relatives off of Carnelian/Baseline in the late 70's. Thanks for the welcome.
