Question is a little vague, but if your refering to the Emergency line on the truck, when hooked to a trailer (w/air brakes), it merely supplies air to its system. If the air pressure in that line is cut off, with the Tractor Protection Valve, or by accident, the trailers Relay/Emergency Valve...

RE: Re: M818 on a regular height 60" flatbed legally??? Over hight permits are easy to get, and usually only require a phone call. Some States, like here, 14' is legal. You do want to respect the Route they give you though - sometimes the Bridge is really the hight they say it is. Lee in Alaska

Actually, I suspect that the "dumping feature" is a side effect of the fact that they made the tongue, so that if the tongue frames rear bolts are removed, the tongue can be rotated vertically, for storage/shipping purposes - the tongue frame part that is under the bed, rotates downward and acts...

Looks great. I mounted a spare deuce bed on a farm wagon, but use the tractor hydraulics to power it. You have to be careful with them, and always be on level ground, when you raise the bed. Lee in Alaska
