That would be a No Go for you on the title company. North Carolina is cracking down on fraudulent titles given out by title companies. Any antique vehicle with an out of state title has to be inspected by the SHP title task force. They have come to see me about a truck I owned years ago, the 1st...
Ok, first, there is a 99% chance it is not a Marine truck, sorry. The Marines have not had M35s for many years. The last ones I saw were the M530C series, and we could not get parts for them, so ours stayed on the"Dead Line",till she went to DRMO around 1994. The trucks at GL on Camp Lejeune are...
I have owned several M37s and never broke an axle.
On the replies from pwrwagonfire, I can see a firedepartment M37 snapping axles. The heavy load of water and a driver who might be under trained in driving a M37 in the woods. Some of the young firefighters only know what they have been told by...
I will be picking up my stuff there next week. I would have gottem it today but we were in a soaking rain all day.
I can pick it up, but I can not get it to you. Let me know if you still want it picked up.

PS, my job is on the same street as DRMO, so pick up is no...
The Colombian Army did not "chop" the frame, but did remove the track assemblies and ad a truck axle to the rear of the halftrack. This was done because of the problems of getting tracks for their halftracks. They were in use up into the 1970s. There is a photo of one in Steven Zaloga's book US...
I found one here (a M606) that was Navy, still had some markings on it......AND the Holy Grail "the fold out windshield". The down side it was missing the data plates, and some one had replaced the motor with a flat head jeep motor. The jeep was rust free, and I passed on it!!!! This was several...

I "think" I still have the adator and plans here to put a chevy master cylinder on the M37. I should have said, I know I have one, but would have to find it.

Bill, you beat me to my next post, the M37B1 had the spacers under the springs on the drivers side because of the wieght of the spare tire.

There is a M222 water truck down the road from me. It was sold from a Vol. fire department to a farmer. It looks like he drove it, and it stopped running in his field. It is now on the side of the field were it has been for the last 2 years, with the hood up. I would make him an offer...
I have had a dewat machine gun on my jeep for over 20 years, never been stopped. I am getting ready to mount a 106 on the M38A1 jeep and the mule. I do not see any problems.
Just do not get stupid and point the weapon at some one or a vehicle. Several years ago here, we had some young guys, out...
I just sold my WC53, it took me over 10 plus years to find every thing it was missing. I lucked out on the seats, mine had the front ones and a VERY good friend was reproing the rear ones at one time and made me a set.
Good luck, they are a neat vehicle.

On our M1028s (Marines) we had a pioneer rack mounted behind the drivers seat. It was the standard pioneer rack. We had two M1028s, years later I saw a M1028 from another Marine unit and it also had the rack behind the seat.

Here at MCAS Cherry Point, we still have about 20 to 30 WWII navy mark II bomb trailers in use every day, and two M416 trailers I still see being used by the Marines here. If you ever get a chance to see the "pie chart" that shows the different military services budgets, you will see why we try...
I think I have enough parts here to fill up a pick up truck. I think they go to the HEMITT. They were won on a GL bid, the guy just wanted the seat, some one else was going to get the rest. Never came to get them. Free, if any one wants the parts. I am in Newport, NC.

Sorry, I should have told where to find tracked vehicles like you were asking in your post.
Try David Uhrig at www.armyjeeps.net
He is a military vehicle broker and most of the time has about 2 pages of tracked vehicles for sell.
Good luck, I am on my second halftrack at this time.

Most of the tracked vehicles, get a one way ticket to the bombing range and never make it to DRMO.
You can still find the older tracked vehicles but it is expensive.
