The M116 chassis is std for a M101 body. The tag on the body is just that, the tag on the frame is the one to be concerned with. the max gvwr on those is about 3500lbs ( varies as some had heavier springs) and your truck has a 5100lb tow rating. Do your research the M101 is not a dump trailer...

Unless it has been damaged, They are plastic and rarely leak. Now a dryrotted fill tube or vent tube or even a rusted out sending unit. These will only leak when full or overfull

If it is the truck i think it is, driving it shouldn't be a problem. I know of 16 inch wheels in Michigan that will fit the deuce hubs, won't clear the brakes so the fronts would need to go on dish out, that might be enough to haul it on a step deck trailer. Need to stay under 13'6"
