    the hyd pump on a 920 flows something like 23 gpm, more than enough for a 816 wrecker body.

    I am not sure what dave is doing, probable plowing the whole block so I will answer a little for him. The entire setup in held in place by 6 bolts and nothing is left on the truck when it is time to put it away. No power steering but I am sure we will be working on that before next winter.

    the alternator puts out something like 90 amps 12v only, that is scaled down through a rectifier to 32 amps 24v part of the truck is on 12v most of it on 24v.
