I increased the idle last year, it helped some, but it has gotton much rougher lately. Could the injectors be dirty and cause this? On the interstate the truck runs smooth but likes to speed up and slow down about 5mph on its own. Does it most at 60 mph. When I come off the freeway to a idle it...
I'm trying to find out why my M1009 idles rough. I was thinking that possibly it was an injector and since the idle has gotten worse maybe more than 1. I checked the return line glass bead and that was good. I listened to all of the injectors working and couldn't tell any differences between...
Has anyone found the cause of the rough idle? Last weekend the rough idle got alot rougher all of a sudden and has stayed that way. With alittle throttle it cleans up and runs smooth at all speeds, but at idle it shakes alot more than it used to. Its a random miss that visibly shakes the truck...
I took glass out of one door and installed it in another without removing the vent window in either. I just moved it around until it went in. There is one spot where it worked for me, with the glass fairly high up. Once you get the door panels off you can see how it all works. It might be easier...
The mt 37 is the direct drive, but you can get kits for the gear reduction starter also. There seems to be 2 or three styles of the 37mt. You probably better have it off before you order anything. I had one of these starters go bad because the armature was shorting on the mounting bolts as it...
If your considering a truck, I'd say get one. My boys will definately be driving one, because if nothing else, dad has alot of parts, but they are a great truck to build on if you want to wheel or haul. Just as they are they stand out, and most teenagers like that.
My experience with the dash lights as well as the turn signals is that the bulb has a poor contact, especially if the truck has infrequent use or has been sitting. Same thing with the highbeam switch and light switch. Often just turning them in the socket works, but with the highbeam and light...
I hope nobody minds me asking, but I need help from someone working on a base that has a Regent model 9310-010 portable crane. There are safety cables that attach from the mast to the boom. I need to know how long they are. They look like 3/8 cable about 5' long. There are 2 of them. Regent...
I believe it is 3 watts to 8 ohms impedance. I get lost pretty fast on this stuff. Using the housings is a good idea, If I can get them cheap enough.

I see lots of deuces with a new speedo listed with low miles. I have an 87 air force deuce that had 8k on it when I got it. Still has less than 9k. Some records of use were in the glove box. It was started about every 3 months. It was not rebuilt. I don't know what the airforce used these for...
Has anyone used military speakers to install a am/fm radio. I'm thinking of the small square od design. Seen some forsale. Just considering the cool looking factor not for the quality sound. I would think that connecting to the radio would be a concern. Anybody done it?
When you buy anything from GL, the sf97 is not in your name. You need the bill of sale they send with it. I think you should check with your DMV before you end up scaring buyers needlessly. I say why pay for 2 titles when you need only 1. I have titled SF97's that aren't in my name.

Hello,
Anybody here have one of these small manual cranes or work with one? I'm in need on measurements of the safety cable that attaches to the mast and boom. I really need the length of those cables.
Typically they are used on aircraft so an airforce base is a good bet to find it. I would...
One thing I forgot to add is that the fast idle/retard on the IP doesn't work on my truck. The truck starts easily with just a touch of throttle and runs smooth if you get it a tiny ammount of throttle until the glow plug end their cycle. I'm thinking of replacing this part to see if can have...
