    Nice truck. That is a long drive. The miliage will go up at regular speeds. 75 is fast for one of these. At least that is the speed limit on 25 from Denver To the Spring. Congratulations.

    2 WDs dont have T-cases. They make different splitters for different apps. The linkage would not be a prob then.

    Hard Shifting still after repairs

    Is it the Turbo 400 or the 700R4? I have a Turbo 350 and an R4 in other trucks and have no problems with the turbo. The 700R4 is a different story. Slow shifting and hard shifts sometimes. Is it just me or are these things bad? You could try a filter change. Worked in my truck.

    M-35tom is probly right. I would clean it and drive it for a few days and see what happens, and keep an eye on the oil level and color.
