Dear Joe,
My truck is not for sale unless you can pay about the amount of the US debt.
Would not part with the truck for anything.
This is the value I got from KBB and other sites.
Welcome to SS.
First the thread should go into the Cucv section, but thats ok.
The 6.2 should have plenty of power and can take a beating.
Most of the parts should be the same as the regular trucks, so finding parts should not be that bad.
$5000 I think is way too much. My 85 C20 is only worth...
Best thing to do is to find one that is in running condition. Unless he will sell it for a few hundred bucks dont buy it. To start into the MV world get a good truck. I am still new too so hopefuly someone else will chime in here. And welcome to the site.
Welcome
The trans has syncros so no duble clutching
The Deuce has a glad hand for towing but as mentioned above you could put a regular hitch on them
They are a good farm truck only thing is they dont have lockers. But they can be bought if you find you need them.
If you are useing it as a farm...
Welcome to SS. You will find that there are a lot of guys here that know a lot. I dont own a CUCV but own a 85 Chevy C20, if you ever need a hand with something.
