O O O O'RIELLYS told me close to $ 600 for a idler arm and it would take 7 to 10 days to get it! I laughed with the counter guy. Got one on line for under $100 with shipping and that was nos.

Maybe some residual fluid was left in a weird spot and surfaced when you went off road. While off-road the angles may have caused it to contact a hot radiator? Either way it stopped, and that's a good thing. Did it have any smell, you will know if it was coolant. Check your clamps. Idk...
