Hi Everyone (especially LH!)!
As you can see I've been busy with getting this shelter together (as well as posting these photos)

Now experiencing technical problems.... Sent pics to Chris, I'll try to find another pic host to help (for free... it's all I can afford now).
Hi Everyone!
I'm eating breakfast, lunch and dinner as I'm oops there goes some mayo.. writing this. Now I know I've eaten food. Anyway, I've been working on Tumbleweed since 0600 this...

One reason why your Deuce has low hours is probably because the motor has been swapped out. You can figure 50 mph times hours, hmm, let's see 418 hours so about 20900 miles tops could have been put on the truck with this motor (not including stopping, warming up or cooling down the turbo...
DS;
You're right. the 1D is physically larger, but all the holes and mounts are the same so you can swap one for the other. I have a 1D and love it. Without any modifications I get 8.4 mpg. I like quiet, um, er, well as quiet as I can get that is. The 1D does not whistle, but it has plenty...
LD;
You are correct. Not only is there a difference in sound, there's a difference in size as well. The impellers inside the 1C are smaller and travel far beyond the speed of sound and in effect rip the air causing the "whistle". The 1D is larger and does not have the same effect.
P.S.-...
Guys;
Mine went down and up just like it was new from the factory. I guess it's all in who used the truck..... Or maybe it's in who lowers and raises the windshield!

You need the elbows and bows for the Deuce? I can get them easy enough. I just want to be sure we're speaking the same English (or is it American?).
Tex;
$2000 should have the set sold in a matter of hours if not a day or two. You said cheap? Well, that's cheap alright! I'd be tempted to start closer to 3k and let them barter down........
LJ;
I thought we all did that, or I just forgot to mention it. It saves me time getting here. I tend to make the mistake in believeing if I do it(whatever "it" is) everyone does. Thanks for reminding me!

They are 11 inch blades. They are the smallest blades available that will fit on the Deuce. If I could locate 10 inch blades I would use them too. However, no civy 10 inch blades are available from Anco that I'm aware of.
Wiper blades Anco 25-11 are available with an adapter kit from AutoZone. You need to remove the curved tip of the arm to allow the adapter kit to work. $10.50 or so for both blades and you're rolling!
Hi Everyone!
Necessity is the mother of creativity! After a SEVERE downpour here in SW Indiana I got beyond frustrated while going to work at AutoZone from these useless wipers. So, on lunchbreak I went to the wiper display and started to pilfer through the inventory<img...
