    tags

I had the SF97 on my M101A2 and tagged with no problem. My M101a1 I did not have the SF97 only the bill of sale from GL, and at first the person at the DMV said no can do, but she thought about it a few minutes and then said OK. You just have to charm them. And be real lucky.

I have a friend missing his left ring finger, from jumping down from a MV many years ago, his ring got caught on a bolt head and ripped his finger off. No jewelry should be worn around equipment or machinery.

    M1009 Glow plug override switch

Jack is correct that the controller will still operate, if it is good. One small correction is it should be just a blue wire {not a bl/wh}.

    CUCV headlight aiming bolt fix

The metal that the aiming screws heads lock into was fatigued on mine allowing the screw heads to slip out. So I moved the left bucket to the right side and the right to the left. That gave me new/unused mounts for the side to side adjusters. The vertical adjusters needed strengthing so i cut...

new heater core or just a hose?

I just picked one up at NAPA, they call it a reducer for the heater hose , 3/4 to 5/8, as stated above cheap money. I also want to change out my core as I get a smell of antifreeze when the heater is on.

That looks like a real nice truck. By the pics the engine is running, looking at the alternator fan. I would take basic metric tools, fuel filter, dot 5 brake fluid, engine oil, trans oil, a spare set of belts, duct tape, most part #s in the CUCV section under FAQ's. I have not gotten an EUC...

Fuel pump is located on the right front lower corner of the engine right next to the frame, not a lot of room to work but you are better off doing it at home rather than at school.

    What to offer on M37?

I saw one next to a house half covered with a rotted blue tarp, flat tires, sunk in mud. I sent the property owner a self addressed envelope with a starting offer of $500.00, he never replied back. There are a few others locally, one has been in a field for 20 years asking price1,500.00 the...

    New Member-New Project

That is a great M43, very complete, I looked at it a few years ago but I do not have a building large enough for it to be stored in and restored. Good luck with the restoration and keep us posted on it.
