what's the hieght of the tire you have on there .i would change em out.if they are 48" tall you can go with 14.00r20 with are easy to find in xl's and if they are closer to 46"i would go with a 15.5 which are easier to find than the 395's and have more weight capacity the 15.5s are rated at...
it could be done . but i'm pretty sure it's illegal .i dont think they would mess with you to much at a parade .i'm pretty sure thats why they didnt put troop seats on em from the factory
i would guess my truck at around 200 to 210 hp i can maintain 70 even while pulling 10000lbs on the trailer up slight hills.oh i have 15.5s on there and still takes off faster than with the 9.00s seems more load =more boost and more power .doesnt slow down till i get around 20000 on the back
thats the same one i have on my truck .its makes way more boost than any ive seen.my truck makes just under 30psi boost .and i just turned the fuel up a little bit i get about 12 mpg driving normal.no whistle at idle but you get a little at 1600 -2600 but not much:roll:mine is a d motor from the...
ya theres alot of them that had trees fall on them.or been in accidents that go to the scrap ward .some are sold by the insurance company and thats who i see listing alot of them .ussually you can get the whole thing cheaper than buying just the refridgerator
anyone interested in a m109 body i have one i will let go cheap its in decent shape no windows but i put plywood in the holes it would make a good secure storage or camper
driving it is not the problem the problem is that you have to be carefull not ot over rev the engine . when using the engine to slow the truck down .since doing that will over run the gov and you can end up throwing the rods while engine braking
i think on some the alt wire runs to the starter .follow it . i bet its the slave rec. wire they short to ground alot . the grommets where it goes through the floor are ussually missing
ya i would remake the bottom bracket:-D or you could make an adaptor to go onto the bottom bracket then mount the of the alt to that .or maybe even easier grind or mill the bottom bracket where the back mount goes.then make a spacer out of tubing or pipe and us a piece of all thread for the bold...
june 10-14 works for me. i'll be there :-Dit's like 211 miles for me. i cant wait if theres anyone else riding down from nw indiana we could convoy down together
i see lock washers cracked all the time sometimes when they loose their tension they will spread out so the ends dont touch.grade 8s with pinched lock nuts and loctite is the only way to go ,i dont know of any manufacturer that uses lock washers on a nut-bolt combo on drive shafts.the only time...
:idea:hey guys i wouldnt use lock washers in something that recieves so much stress . put new grade 8 bolts with nylon lock nuts and loctite em to just to be sure lock washers have the tendincy to loose thier spring and crack under constant beating.also use fine thread bolts they dont work loose...
dont think thats the reason for no oil pressure maybe something that went wrong from no oil press. the oil pump is in the pan not the injection pump.that being said you probably have bigger problems than you see i'm amazed it runs like that.i'd start looking for a motor rather than put a...
