yes a mechanical link is needed to be legal 'i think some gm vehicles run rear steering. some trucks and cars but the amount of movement is really limited .the use and electric servo but as far as what any of us would be using rear steer for the only way to go is hydro with a way to lock it out...

rear steer is great but you need to have some way to lock it out if youre gonna run it on the street. its illegal unless you can pin it out.boyce sells a lockout kit .the monster trucks run a self centering setup which is probably best for most situations.just alot more costly .not only does it...

lift kits are safe as long as you do it right .get front springs made and have rear springs made .you could have a couple leafs added to the rear wjile you're at it.or you could remake the rear spring brakets with a higher spring pad.blocks are always a bad idea and are illegal on the front

probably not the rad . i bet the thermostat isnt opening all the way had that happen before way to many times .change the thermostat first they are way cheaper than a rad . you could take the t stat out and check for flow in the rad.

here's a little load about 35000 . i had it stacked over the roof with sand tail gate down. no problems :-Dalso i drug a d8 with a bucket on the front about 1.5 miles couldnt believe it did it .all it would do is spin the tires when it wasnt loaded .the last 1/4 mile was sand it was digging down...
