The dual voltage, you will need 3 batteries. 2 used for 24v, 1 used for 12v. Looks like you have a 24v alternator? What transmission is that, do you know?

Like joe said... I would use a 12/24 alternator. They bolt right on the humvee engine. Matter of fact... If you are running the computerized engine, it may already have it!

FMJ, your point has been made... I have heard enough of it. STOP. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has been chastised, chewed out, deleted, blocked, banned, or anything of the likes for speaking bad about GL. If you continue to suggest that someone has.... YOU will be. I have heard enough of it...
I have a pile that I plan to do. My goal is to make the square part round, and hole saw the bed. A plasma cutter has come to mind, but you would want to make something to follow, or a compass of some sort to get the 'perfect' cut.
Turning up the fuel will be good since you opened up the exhaust. The cold air intake is a good idea too. Air flow is the best 'cheap' improvement you can do for any diesel.
there is no 'throttle body' in a diesel.

I know that when I took mine apart, there was a small spring loaded pad that appeared to hold tension on the drum for the free spool state. Mine was totally worn out, and I removed it to have it...
